Well, it all started with my obsession with animals. I left school when I was 16, and animals were the only things that really made me feel needed and kept me from going insane out of boredom.
I've had every kind of rodent out there, rats, guinea pigs, etc.. I've had frogs, turtles and snakes, fish, dogs, cats, ferrets, you name it, I had it. Until one day I realized.. I've never owned my own bird, my mom has, my sister has, but I haven't. So I did some research and decided I wanted a cockatiel.
So about a week after that decision we were on the road to meet a breeder(Yeah, I'm an impulse shopper). I went in for one cockatiel, and left with three. I instantly fell in love with them all, they were so friendly and cuddly, and not at all what I thought owning birds would be like.. they were curious and playful, and I could spend money on their toys and they actually used them! So.. I am now in the beginning of my breeding, I want to breed the most healthy, friendly and playful little babies and share them with the world.
And then here's Emily, my sister.
She's the one who takes over some of the hand feedings on the weekends,
in case I need to run to buy a new cage,
head to the pet store, go grocery shopping, or ride my horse.
I also plan on breeding Quakers, Sun Conures, and Pionus.
(I will be getting a quaker pair VERY soon, so keep checkin' the site, or fill out a reservation
form so I can email you when I have eggs/hatchlings)
